What is a Freemason?

Masons, or Freemasons are members of the oldest and largest fratenal organisation in the world.

Masons represent almost every occupation and profession, they come from many different backgrounds but all share three basic tenets:

Brotherly Love - to show understanding and respect to all fellow creatures.

Relief - to practice charity to individuals and to the community as a whole.

Truth - to strive for higher moral values.

No matter what their backgrounds or beliefs masons always strive to meet together in peace, harmony and friendship, calling each other "brother"

What is Freemasonry?​


Masonry is dedicated to the brotherhood of man. It uses the tools of ancient craftmen as symbols to instruct the individual how to build character and moral values. It aims to make better men. Freemasons practice their own faith as freemasonry is not a religion

What is a Masonic Lodge?


The word Lodge has two meanings. It means a group of Masons meeting together and also the room or building in which they met.
